MeDioStar combines two wavelengths with high power and contact cooling. The Monolith handpieces range from 1 to 10 cm², so both the upper lip and the back are quick to treat. A 10.1-inch touchscreen with modes for beginners and experts makes it easy to work with.

Get the product sheetMeDioStar comes from Asclepion Laser Technologies in Jena, with more than 45 years of experience in medical lasers. 808 nm targets the melanin in the hair follicle and 940 nm reaches deeper parts of the follicle. Variable pulse duration and contact cooling make the treatment safe on Fitzpatrick I–VI, even on tanned skin.
Laser gives a long-lasting reduction of hair in the area, often 70 to 90 per cent. Only hairs in the growth phase are affected each time, so the result builds over a series of treatments and maintenance may be needed. Hair removal is in high, recurring demand and has short treatment times.

Laser gives a long-lasting and marked reduction of hair, often 70 to 90 per cent. Individual hairs may come back and maintenance may be needed.
Usually 6 to 12 treatments, 4 to 12 weeks apart, because only hairs in the growth phase are affected each time. Results vary with hair and skin type.
MeDioStar is suitable for Fitzpatrick I–VI. The laser targets the pigment and works best on darker hair. White and grey hair lack pigment and do not respond.
Most people feel a slight prickling or warm sensation. Contact cooling keeps the skin cool, and the practitioner adjusts the energy to the skin and hair.
Reasons to avoid treatment include pregnancy and breastfeeding, light-sensitising medication, active herpes or infection in the area, a suntan or self-tan in the last four weeks, and a pacemaker. A health questionnaire is always completed before starting.
The device is delivered to your door. It weighs about 65 kg with the trolley, so we recommend that two people are there to receive it.
