LARIX DIODE is built for hair removal and has four wavelengths in one handpiece. This lets the practitioner treat all skin types and most hair types that have pigment in the hair follicle. Built-in cooling makes the treatment comfortable for the client.

The laser light passes through the skin and heats the pigment in the hair. The heat travels down to the hair root, which is deactivated. Only hairs in the growth phase are affected, so the treatment is given as a course. The dose is adapted to skin and hair colour, and the built-in cooling protects the skin during treatment.

Hair grows in three phases, and only hair in the growth phase is affected, about 30 per cent at a time. That is why 3–8 treatments are needed on average, 6–8 weeks apart, depending on hair type, amount of hair and area.
Reduced hair growth is often visible after 2–3 treatments. Results vary between clients.
Yes. Four wavelengths mean that all skin types can be treated. Darker skin needs adjusted parameters, and white, grey and red hair responds less well because the pigment is missing or of the wrong type.
A small area such as the upper lip takes around 15 minutes, full legs around 90 minutes. The first visit takes longer because it includes a consultation and a health questionnaire.
Shave the area 24 hours before. No suntan, no self-tan for 7 days before, and no waxing, epilator or tweezers for 4 weeks before. Between treatments, only shaving is allowed.

Basic training is always included and takes place in our showroom in Gothenburg. You also get access to our online training. We start with a demo on Teams or Meet.
A 2-year warranty is included. You get ongoing support from the whole team: technical, treatment-related and commercial. We go through the full terms when you receive the quote.
The device is delivered to your door. We recommend that two people are there to receive it.
