Dermablate works at 2940 nm, where the water in the skin absorbs the light most strongly. This gives precise ablation with minimal heat spread. With adjustable pulse duration, the practitioner can switch between cold and warm ablation, fractional or fully ablative.

Get the product sheetDermablate comes from Asclepion Laser Technologies in Jena. The laser resurfaces the skin, fractionally or fully ablatively, and stimulates new collagen. The technology is precise and causes little heat spread, which makes it gentle on the surrounding tissue.
Fractional mode gives fast healing and short downtime. Fully ablative mode gives stronger resurfacing with longer healing. Redness and peeling for a few days is normal, and the result builds as the skin heals. Skin resurfacing and scar treatment are popular premium treatments.

The Er:YAG laser removes skin very precisely, fractionally or fully ablatively, and stimulates new collagen. Heat spread is low, which makes the treatment gentle.
It depends on the intensity and mode. Fractional means shorter healing, fully ablative longer. Redness and peeling for a few days is common. Sun protection and careful aftercare are important.
It varies with the goal and the skin. Sometimes one treatment is enough, sometimes a series is needed. The practitioner makes a plan based on the client's skin.
The area can be numbed with cream. The client feels heat during the treatment.
Reasons to avoid treatment include pregnancy and breastfeeding, active herpes or infection, recent isotretinoin use, dark or tanned skin and a tendency to keloids. A health questionnaire is always completed first.
The device is delivered to your door. It weighs about 115 kg, so we recommend that two people are there to receive it.
